Membership Information:

We welcome new members and look forward to your participation in our organization and in the shooting sports.

The following are the procedures for applying to become a member of the Brant Revolver and Rifle Club.

• Obtain a membership application form, from the club on any Friday at the following times - 7:00pm-9:00pm.
• Return the filled out application to the club, on any Friday evening between 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
• Prospective members should be in possession of one of the following licenses:
  • Firearms Acquisition Certificate
  • Possession Only License
  • Possession/Acquisition License
• If you do not have a license, you can make arrangements to take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Course or to challenge the exams.
• The new member must take the club safety course and complete a probationary period consisting of 12 sessions at the club so that the members can get to know the new member. If the prospective member has been a prior member of the BRRC or are a current member of any other shooting club, they may at the discretion of the Board of Directors have the required safety course and probationary period waived.
• Upon completion of the safety course, the payment of all dues, the completion of the probationary period and have had their membership approved by the Board of Directors, the new member will become a full member of the club. At this time members who own restricted firearms will be eligible to apply for an authorization to transport permit. The ATT can only be obtained through the auspices of the club, and as such it may be revoked at any time at the discretion of the Board of Directors for any infringement of the law or club rules.
